What we collect
Your email address and name when you create an account, and the sign-in provider you choose (email and password, Google, Microsoft, Facebook or Apple). The characters, adventures, worlds and feedback you create. Basic technical data such as your browser type and the pages you load, used to keep the service running.
How we use it
To run your account and entitlement to paid plans, to generate narration and images from the story context you provide, to save your adventures, to moderate community content, and to understand which parts of the app people actually use so we can improve them.
Who processes it
Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives your email and billing details directly and never shares your card number with us. Narration and image generation are sent to third-party AI model providers as prompts containing your story context. Hosting, storage and email are handled by platform infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal data.
What is public
Your account and stories are private. Only content you deliberately publish to the community — worlds, characters, quests, mechanics packs — is visible to other players, together with the display name you publish under. Suggestions you post are visible to you and to moderators.
Cookies and storage
We use browser storage for your session so you stay signed in, and local preferences such as your chosen theme or atmosphere settings. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
Your content is kept while your account exists. You can delete individual adventures, or delete your account from your account page, which removes your profile and content from the active service. Moderation records and payment records may be retained where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can access and correct your profile, delete content, and request a copy of your data through the Suggestions board. If you are in a region with extra rights — such as the GDPR or CCPA — you can exercise those rights through the same channel and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and accounts for younger players should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.
